Meet Our Dietitian!
Doreen MacLean RD
Doreen MacLean is registered with the Nova Scotia Dietetics Association and Dietitians of Canada. Doreen has experience in Community Nutrition and Wellness, Clinical Nutrition in Long-Term Care, Food Service, and Weight Management. Born and raised in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, Doreen took her Bachelor of Science in Applied Human Nutrition at Mount Saint Vincent University.
Doreen keeps herself up to date with the latest research in the field of dietetics, and is able to break down the scientific literature into simple, easy-to-understand terms so that her clients not only know what to eat, but also why they should be eating it! Doreen understands that diet and lifestyle are very personal and creates a safe space where clients are able to create their own plans to reach their health and wellness goals.
When Doreen is not busy helping people reach their goals, she is out setting her own! She can often be found in the kitchen, hitting the gym or the hiking trails, or hanging out volunteering with kids.
